Now Lunenburg County – Documentary Film
The Challenge
How do we tell the inspirational story of one small county’s epic 5-week cross-Canada journey in its bid to attract people to follow them back to their idyllic rural community in Nova Scotia?
Our Solution
We combined on-location interviews, demographic reports, drone footage, voice-over narration, motion graphics, and 2D animation to give it a down-east vibe that conveyed the relaxed pace of life in rural Lunenburg County.
The Results
The heartfelt documentary followed the journey of the community coordinator from BC to Nova Scotia in a converted camper. We were able to condense a month’s worth of footage and research into a 16-minute video along with social media content that was released during the trip itself.
